FAQ
Q: where are our camps located?
A: Breezemont Day Camp (New York) | Camp Echo Lake (New York) | Iroquois Springs (New York) |
Pocono Springs Camp (Pennsylvania) | Summer Trails Day Camp (New York)
Q: what are the ages of the campers?
A: 3-13 at our Day Camps and 7-16 at our Sleep-away Camps.
Q: what are the living ACCOMMODATIONs like?
A: Housing at camp is simple, but comfortable. We have wood frame cabins with electricity. Shower houses with individual private showers are located in close proximity to each bunk. Each camper and staff member has their own bed and cubbies.
Q: what about time off?
A: Our staff members work extremely hard at camp, so we understand how important it is to give you the time to relax, recharge and regain perspective. Each camp has a staff lounge with internet access. Staff members also receive one day off per week. We do everything possible to help staff members receive enough time to recharge, so that they stay healthy, happy and ready to work.
Camp is a place to “unplug” and it’s important that campers and staff understand this policy as it relates to the core values of what camp is all about. Personal cell phones and other electronics are absolutely prohibited from being carried with you while on duty or kept in your cabin. They must be stored in the staff lounge and used only during time-off.
Q: When you look for staff to work at camp, what exactly are you looking for?
A: First and foremost, we are looking for genuine folks who have a passion for working with children and are committed to seeing young people succeed. Of course, we are also looking to attract staff who have varied skills and can help teach or lead different activity areas in camp.
